I'm getting new pipe for Christmas. I want to keep it below $60 or so. I'm currently thinking about a Savinelli 'Standing' Canadian (804).

Any other ideas about another Canadian or Lovat, that might make my toes curl?

I think if you look around, you could find a beautiful estate Canadian for that price. A new Savinelli will probably run around $100. I see really nice ones on EBay for $50 or less.

I highly recommend Savinelli canadians. Got 3 so far. If you like a BIG pipe, go for the Hercules model. Probably about $75 or $80, though........

Not a suggestion, but rather sharing your love for the Canadian form: I've always, since I first enjoyed pipes, thought the Canadian a great shape, but I never purchased one until a couple (or few) years ago. I'm just breaking it in now. I've just enjoyed it being in my rack for some years, but this morning I thought... why not? So I set some Briar Fox in it and started to enjoy.

Wishing you the best in your search.

I have been eyeing the Pete Canadians recently. They make several in different price ranges and have a great reputation for quality and consistency!

If you don't take OT up on his offer... $50.00 from SP.

Which pipe is this? It's a beaut!
Also I've messaged OT, in regards to his kind offer. I did not find any of his on Ebay, though.

I've had a Peterson Canadian on order at the local B+M. Hoping to get it soon.
