My long awaited care package from Cornell & Deihl arrived yesterday and I'm so pleased,

    2 Oz each (tinned) of:

    After Hours
    Autumn Evening
    Brair Fox
    Cross Eyed Cricket
    Founding Fathers
    Nutty Irishman
    Irish Blessing
    Berry Good
    Plum Duff
    Apricots & Cream
    Strwaberries & Cream
    Dark Chocolate Cavendish

I specified tinned in hopes that they would stay fresher longer, though I don't expect to get more than a week out of a tin once I open it, the hard part is keeping myself from opening more than two or three tins at a time.

Now what to try first..... Perhaps the Tawny Port since I am a huge "big red" wine freak.

    Great stash!

But what's wrong with opening two or three at a time? Mix it up a little! ;)

They dry out too fast here!

Average humidity is hovering between 04% and 06% and there is NO distilled water anywhere.

    Ah, ok!

4-6%??? WOW! I guess you're fighting two good fights, eh?

Enjoy that tobacco! C&D are great folks and they make great tobacco. You made some wonderful choices. Opening Night is in my regular rotation, and AE is one of the finest heavily cased blends I've ever smoked. BF is about as unique a mixture as I've come across. Happy smoking, bro!

I had my first C&D last night Kajun Kake and loved it. What other blends by them do you guys suggest?

Pirate Kake is my all time favorite
    Mississipi Mud a close second
Blockade Runner is a bit bold...
Black Frigate when I need a good kick in the pants.

I'm really just getting into the aromatics (see above)
Most of my new converts can't handle those big bold blends, and I'm finding my tastebuds are getting a bit burnt-out

Just got off the phone with Rich at 4noggins and ordered...
    2oz Miss Mud
    20z Kajun Kake
    20z Good morning
    40z Hunted bookshop

All after one bowl of kajun kake which I fell in love with. Hope the others are as good, from reviews and the blends I think they will be.

Roger that, this was the big order I mailed off a check for about a month ago, before I found all you great people.

Craig @ C&D has my mailing address, and I'm sure he would not mind shipping more.. .
As long as it it tinned (to preserve the moisture content) we are not at all too particular what we get.
