So my wife asked me today what I wanted for my birthday, which is coming up at the end of August. My obvious reply was, "A new pipe.", to which she responded, "But you just got a new pipe a couple of weeks ago." May answer was "So..." That is all it took for her to say, "Send me some links and I'll see what I get you."

That means I'm probably getting a pipe. :velho:

I'm trying to keep it under $100 and so far these are my favorites.

    What do you guys think?

In terms of looks, I prefer the Vauen Vesuv. I like the way it splays down and out. It also has the filter which you can probably opt to use or not.

Have you considered an estate pipe? Smokingpipes has many nice ones, I just picked one up there this morning.

Whatever you choose, a new pipe will make it a good birthday!

WOW! They both look OUTSTANDING! Bottom line: It came from your wife. I still have the pipe my wife gave me.........maybe that's why we're still married. :velho:

Either way, it will be a pipe you will enjoy smoking........even if you get the Falcon (don't own any, so I really don't know there.....)

I like the Pete sitter but I'm not the one who'll be smoking it.

I can vouch for the estates over on Smoking Pipes as well. My Peretti canadian smokes like a dream and it was only $45. I think you'll do very nicely with $100 to spend.

I would go with the Pete - I have had good luck with them in the past & I like the way it looks.

I was admiring a Peterson sitter the other day in the B&M down the street. More of a poker really but you can't go wrong. If I had my choice though and someone else was gifting me, I just might opt for a Falcon. No bad reviews about it really and, unlike some, I admire the look.

As long as you enjoy what you end up with, you're a lucky man. Happy Birthday.

Hell get them both! Life's too short to worry about a lousy $100. The government will just tax it away from you anyhoo. Buy'em both!

falcon hands down, best smoke i have had so far. no matter what i smoke in it, club blend gave me tounge bite, solution, falcon. had some fvf that was too wet to smoke, falcon was the solution, no wasted time drying when i could be smoking. that or the pete, cause i love the peterson's too.
