A friend visiting Belgium recently, brought me a 100gm. tin of 'Black Parrot' back. While being a little on the mild side for a regular smoke, it is IMO a very nice tobacco. Never seen it mentioned here - is it hard to get, or just not so popular Stateside?

I've never even heard of it myself, so I have no idea if it's imported here or not.

I think the Ashton is made by KK in Germany now and not sold in the U.S. so I'm assuming thats what you have. The McClelland is a very well balanced, mellow, and zesty smoke.. It's good, but I wont buy it again. I tend to buy tins in 3s so I will see what a little age will do for it. I can't compair it to the org..
