Bought 3 Peterson's today which I thought might be a good deal.
What are your thoughts?
Peterson's are always a good buy. Are they brand new?....they look to be. I have 3 Peterson's myself.
Nice score! I really like the one on the bottom..
I'm gonna steal Jesla's thunder...
'Can't beat a Pete'.
If you haven't had the pleasure of a system pipe yet, it looks like you will now!
They rock and are nicely colored good score man . Petes surely arent
All three of them I believe are older. You can see a little pitting on the top ones band. And a little teeth damage to the P-Lip on the center one. The bottom one has just a slight dent in the bit. There's a model 31, A Barrel, and a 317 bent.
I paid less then $50 for all of them. I'm thinking they were well worth it.
Yes, that is a deal, no doubt about it!
$50, for all three?.......scooooooore.....
Thats what i would call a steal. Happy smoking
Thanks guys, I'm glad to hear it. Although I had several Peterson's before I paid much less then that for them at a estate sale many years ago. I knew that there good pipes but wasn't sure what a decent price was nowadays for them. I reckon by yall's comments that I got a REAL good deal.
I usually see a single pipe going for upwards of $50 if it is in good condition on eBay. So yes, you got a steal of a deal!
A very nice buy indeed.
Nice score!!! I Really love my husband's Peterson #384, such a nice smoke. I hope you really enjoy them.
I would say one heck of a score. The few Peterson's I have, I enjoy.
I will give you 65 for all three.....
Good lookingi pipes man at a great price! I have a tankard, same size as the barrel, and love it for stonehaven and other high N blends.
I was told that the barrel has a Peterson replacement bit on it and the original was a military bit. I wonder if Floyd can make me one easy enough?
Now how in Tar-nation did I screw that up.
I am not sure of the diffence, but yours looks like all the new ones I have seen.
Man, why can't I makes scores like that! Sweet pipes.
I was told by the gentleman that I bought them from that the 31 was 35 years old and the Barrel was 20 and the 317 was the newest at 5 years old.
