On my big list of wants was a rusticated pipe and a Savinelli so on impulse I bid on this puppy and happened to win.

Can't wait to get it here, clean it up, and enjoy a bowl.

If anyone has this version of a Sav let me know how they smoke. I would usually ask before buying but PAD hits and the price was right.

Congrats!! Yeah I have a Savinelli Duca Carlo and Nonpariel 9604 in my rotation and they are some of the best I own. Truly well worth the money!

I have a Roma 111EX. Great pipe for the afternoon. Smokes for like two hours. I don't have a Sav I don't like, and I just bought another. I've got about a dozen Savs and a dozen Petes, with the rest of the briars being random. Now I'm focused on meers. Aaah. Meers.

I have a very similar Roma in a Dublin shape (920KS, I believe). It was the second Sav I purchased almost 20 years ago for about $45 new and is still a regular fixture in my rotation. Smokes like a champ. I'm sure yours will serve you well.
