My new BST arrived, and yesterday I put 3 bowls of "Skiff" through it. (I haven't alot of patience when it comes to breaking in a new pipe, would much prefer familiar cake)
But I'm very happy with this pipe, it's about a group 3 on the Dunhill scale, which is what I was hoping for. Smokes excellent! I'm hoping this will calm my PAD for awhile.

I approve of your blatant disregard for prescribed "break in" treatments and applaud your furious attack on that briar.

    Oh yeah, nice pipe.

Thanks Dave. I knew you approve of such non-prescribed means.

Gorgeous, and one of my favorite BST's I've ever seen. Big fuzzy Sasquatch does the classic shapes beautifully. I'm thoroughly envious of that one.

I really need to thank all of you for your kind responses, but when I think about it, I've got my car that needs work....an old truck that's in storage that I can't/won't sell but pay monthly storage fees. My wife's B-day in May, the house needs painting & other work....
I really need to prioritize where my money goes, or at least I hope to do so.
So again, this should be it for me pipewise for awhile:D
    Right?

    Very nice Pipe.
Fix the car to place the ads to sell the truck, give the wife a painting party for her Bday, smoke your new baby while your deciding on where to start the repairs, these things all take time, and you don't want to rush into them.
