Goat got me hooked on some lat blends, so I am trying to find them in a bulk form.
McClelland jubilee, Dunhill early morning pipe and C+D's bow legged bear are what I have tried. The latter of the three have caused cravings... I'm hooked. :)

I spotted the frog knockoffs in bulk on smoking pipes and was curious how they compared. Are there other lat blends that come in bulk?

Hearth & Home has several lat blends (including my favorite oddball lat, Obsidian). The H&H bulk sampler is one of the best (and most fun) way to try out what they have.

Lancers slices, a broken flake, is delicious and at a good price point.

McClelland Dark Full English 5110 is one I like. 4noggins has it at about $15.84 per 4 oz. With the PSF discount it would come to about $14.26 per 4 oz.

SmokingPipes has many Latakia blends in bulk, and they sell single ounces so you can try several. C&D Byzantium is good, and they also have all three Stokkebye lat blends (English Luxury, English Oriental Supreme, and Proper English) and the three Newminster lat blends (English Luxus, English Orient, and Ultimate English) and Sam Gawith Commonwealth (50% latakia, an awesome smoke), Skiff Mixture, and Squadron Leader, and several Gawith Hoggarth blends in bulk. 4Noggins also has several lat blends in bulk. Just look through the bulk listings on both sites -- there are plenty to choose from.

+1 on the Dark English Full. If you wanna stray from the path into some weird territory hit up a tin of Mississippi Mud. Tried it and at first it wasn't my thing but I left it alone for a couple months and on a whim tried it again and it is a great blend.

I would recommend Balkan Supreme by Peter Stokkybe. marscigars.com sells it decently cheap. Thats where I get mine from...

Also, I didnt think EMP had any latakia in it...

Definitely my favorite Lat blend. I really enjoyed McClelland Coyote Classic bulk. I usually have 4-8oz around at any given time.

I'm glad you like the latakia but keep something in mind when ordering. All three of those blends I sent you are pretty light in latakia. There are some blends out there that are late bombs.

Maybe some baby steps working your way up to some of the heavier blends. ;)

I'd heard the frog blends were lat intros too, and where I started looking. I'm liking this stuff but I want to find a bargain on it... my B&M may not be the best route for lat blends it seems. Although, their tins may be aged....
