Do you chew any of the G&H or SG ropes?

Which rope would be comparable to Copenhagen for strength?

How do the flavored ropes taste when chewed? Also, is the flavor really mild or is it so strong that it covers up the taste of the tobacco?

There is no real substitute I have found for the flavor of Copenhagen.

I have had the Black Cherry twist and the Irish Black X, and chewed them both.

The cherry is good, cherry flavor but not too sweet. Good tobacco flavor.

Black Irish X is good as well. Smoky and strong. (I laid down a pound of this one in my cellar)

Try an ounce, in the pipe and as chew.

I have some drying to grind and snuff as well.

Strength depends on personal PH vs the PH of the tobacco as well as surface area. Not sure of the ph of these, but higher ph=faster absorbtion....but if you chop up some brown rope real small you don't need much.

I tried a bit of GH Sweet Rum Twist. It actually tasted alright, but I have no real experience with chew. All I know is that it was nicer than the Romeo y Julieta and Montecristo snus I bought.
