Just won a Comoy Trend Estate 1/2 bent Dublin from Ebay.
The seller says it is from the early 80's, but doesn't give any more specifics.
Not really a collector at this point. I have heard (and read) a lot about the name, and I really liked the look of it, so I went for it.
There is a fish tail stem with a #42, but I will post a pic as soon as I receive it.
This is my 1st previously smoke pipe so I may need some guidance in cleaning and reaming if necessary.
I have already read through some of the other cleaning threads, so that should give me a good start.
Wasn't very expensive so I thought I would give it a shot.
    Excited!
    Cheers!

Comoys are great smoking pipes and you should enjoy it. Any questions while you are cleaning it up, just ask.

    Hi All,

Sounds like you got a good deal there! Comoy is an old established brand and can still knock out a good pipe.

    Enjoy for many years!

Just got it in the mail.
    Even better than the pics!
Great condition. Doesn't even appear to have been smoked.
If so, the seller did a GREAT clean up job.

    Hi All,

Indeed there's nothing like a bargain! Nice modern take on a classic theme - that band sets off the grain beautifully - many happy years with her and I hope she turns out to be a great smoker,

    Best to all,

    Gerry

Great looking pipe. Polish the stem and you're good to go. My forst pipe was a Comoy. Bought it in 1978. Still have it. Hope you enjoy it.
