    NICE!!!!
This is the time of year where here in SoCal you can surf in the morning and ski in the afternoon.........or in the case of WJ, vice-versa.
I'm sure that down here in the foothills we'll have mudslide warnings any minute now.... "STORMWATCH Team Coverage" on the local news.

[IMG]From one extreme to another - there's a place in my country called Boracay Island where I go for vacations. My photo in the "smoking a pipe" thread was from my 2010 trip, my avatar was taken there in 2011. For 2012, I'll spare you pics of me smoking, and just share the view:

It's certainly pretty. Here in Northern New York we're going in the opposite direction, beautiful warm sunny days when we should be still shoveling snow.

We barely had any snow here this year. It was a very odd year. One slammer of a storm in Oct then nothing significant until March. What a wierd year.

When I lived in Pennsylvania, I took it all for granted. Here in this part of Texas such a snowfall is practically unheard of, and I really miss it sometimes. Of course, if I had to deal with it on a regular basis then it might lose its charm.

When I was stationed in the Philippines, Boracay was one of the places that I vacationed at. I loved it.

Who the heck wants snow? It makes for a pretty picture, and yes sometimes snuggling up in a warm blanket on a cold winters night is the best feeling ever, but I'll take the no-smow winters like I had this year over the blizzards of years gone by anytime.

I like a bit of winter. A good cold snap kills off a lot of the nasty little critters that hitch rides on trucks coming up the I15 and decide to hop off in my neighbourhood. Besides, if there wasn't winter there wouldn't be spring. I really like spring.

On the other hand the nice weather recently, means getting out the cbr 1000 :startl:<---- the look on my face when I snap the throttle open on that bad boy hahaha love it though
