I have a nice castleford drawstring type tobacco pouch, however I'm afraid to fill it with an aro for fear it will absorb the aroma and flavor. Do you aro smokers have multiple pouches or will one pouch suffice?

I put my tobacco in a zip-loc bag, roll it up and place it in the tobacco compartment. I have numerous tobaccos but only a handful of pouches.

Just about anything that's the least bit absorbent will absorb tobacco aroma and flavor, and pouches are huge offenders. Pouches work if you only carry one blend in them, or if you don't mind a lot of crosstalk between tobaccos.

Stonewall's ziplock bag is the answer. Use it once or a few times and pitch it.

That is what I do. I carry as many as 3 zip lock bags in the tobacco compartmenrt of my pipe case. It's a Peterson 2 pipe case with a tobacco compartment and a place for a pipe tool and a place for pipe cleaners.

It's never been a problem for me I have a couple of color coded pouches, I use one for Burley blends, Virginias etc., and I only carry a day's worth of tobacco and what I don't smoke that day I empty back into its container when I get home in the evening.
