As I am relativly new to pipe smoking I was wondering if anyone offers a sample variety pack of bacci. Something with just enough bacci for a bowl or 2 of each and a large variety so I can determin what I like before I invest.

Currently I'm smoking Captain Black and I like it. But at times I want to have a little variety. Most of the tobacco shops in my area cater to cigars and cigarettes.

    I've tried these:
1.Captain Black (White & Gold) (Love it)
    2.Middleton Cherry (Not bad)
3.Prince Albert (hit the trash can after the second bowl)
4.CAO cherry (amazing flavor, burns real hot)
5.Various bargan bag brands (not a bargan, tastes bad)
6.A Local Tobacco shops Black Cherry (not bad, good smell and taste)

I seem to like the Cavendish bacci, but theirs so much other stuff I'm at a loss as to what to try.

www.randystobaccoshop.com offer a selection of 1 oz samples. Best I've found for sample packs, you don't wind up with a tin of stuff you don't like. Pirates Cove is awesome. They charge a flat $5 for shipping, great to deal with.

The tobacco barn offers several sample packs, usually a variety of 1oz Aromatics or english blends, I enjoyed getting them to 'test the waters' so to speak. they also had a great variety of pipes and related accessories

I've tried samplers from both of them, just pick what you want from their website.

How does one go about this? I'm new into pipe tobacco and also looking for samplers from companies that sell small amounts for us newbie smokers.
