    Hello!

I'm interested to buy this pipe:

Can somebody tell me, is this pipe good for smoking, is this briar pipe, and who is manufactured?

    Thanks!

Hmmm...best I can tell, Dr. Boston pipes are made in the Butz-Choquin factory in France, but that one seems pretty old so I don't know if that is true for that particular pipe. But it looks pretty cool and could use a little restoration. For the price, I'd go for it if I were you...

Looks like a fine pipe. From what I have heard, Pear Root is another common material in pipe making. perhaps this pipe is. but what ever it is id go for it. but no more than $55. personal preference though

Mr Brog pipes are predominately pear wood, and have excellent reviews. I have one and it smokes better (specifically cooler, smoother, and burns more consistently) than a few of my briars.
