What do you all do with your empty tins? Do people collect them? I see them on ebay once in a while and don't know why anyone would buy them. I have a bunch and don't really want to toss them but really have no use for them either.

I try and find an alternative use for 'em but I've got loads now so I started chucking 'em in the trash.

Geez, don't throw them away, for God's sake!!!!!!!!!!!!
One day you'll find you're gonna get some bulk tobacco which comes in bags, and you wanna store it somewhere decent.
Your old tins are perfect for that!
There's nothing wrong with big jars but if you use your tins you only ever have to open one "unit" rather than the whole lot.:bing:

I use them for mixing quick batches of stain and then toss 'em.

It's inevitable I suppose. The tossing of them that is.

I find that the bigger tins(McBarens 100g tins) make a great pocket ashtray, I cut a wine bottle cork in half and screw the half in the middle and voila, nice little ashtray!

I never throw any of mine, at least not until now.

    Brilliant, Klaus!
I'm saving mine so that one day, I can
make a collage on a bare wall in my
future smoking room. Just the lids, obviously.

I save the labels in a folder and then use the tins as razor banks for my DE razors.

I love the idea of the ashtray! Thanks!

That is a great idea as well, do you mind if I steal it?

For a while now I've been keeping one of each blend I've tried.
