Estate sale find calabash gourd

    Found this at an estate sale this morning for 35 bucks No brand markings on it. Cleaned it up a bit, and am smoking the first bowl in it now. Nice cool smooth smoker.

    Very nice looking 'bash. Just be sure that the bowl is meerschaum...not asbestos. A scratch test on the underside of the bowl will tell.

    I have one very much like yours, right down to the whittling on the gourd.

    It's a great smoker, though I haven't a clue who made it or where it came from...
