Added a Blast Cabinet to my shop, and been playing with it. Did my first blast with the cabinet at work, big cabinet, unlimited air, went like a breeze. Now we get to mine, small cabinet, much smaller compressor, takes a while but gets the job done.
One I started at work and finished at home....

The next one was finished today, using the cabinet in the shop....

One thing I have learned.... don't place the compressor too close to the cabinet, it gives off heat! Never gave it any thought until working in the shop today. Going to move the cabinet to a different spot! And now that the shop is wired for 240v, maybe I can get a bigger compressor to follow me home, lol. Adding these to my inventory for the show in Chattanooga in September. Until then, there's still plenty of time for boys to play with our toys!

I like them both. However the top one trips my trigger big time. I love that stem and really craggy look along with the slightly redish hugh. Man-o-man that pipe is stunning--stunning.

The more I look at that top one the more I love it. Man its simply gorgious. I REALLY--REALLY--REALLY like it A LOT.
You did some awesome work. That rough to and deep ring grain blast--OH GOD-- I keep going back looking at the picture. Thats a pipe that does something for me for sure.
You need to keep up the good work--obviously you have a talent and it shows.

I have done some in the past, but stopped for awhile so I could build some inventory for a couple shows coming up. But with 12 pipes put back, I could do a commission.

I'd totally name that first one "The Sauce" 'cause it looks like it was slathered in bbq sauce. Great work!

That first one - kept coming back to it - "What does it remind me of?" ---a fresh smoked salmon fillet!! It's the color and texture I guess!
Needless to say I like it!
