Ennerdale is a Lakeland, and one of my favorites. I get no almond or vanilla when I smoke it.

A hint of these flavors, perhaps, but nothing overly distinctive. However, YMMV. I like and enjoy Ennerdale. It is truly a Lakeland tobacco, and all that that implies.

You'll need to dedicate a couple of pipes to this blend if you plan to smoke it regularly as it will absolutely ghost a pipe.

I have about a half pound cellared. I'd like to get to 2 lbs. It has that floral Lakeland aroma, but it also has a strength or kick to it. It's not a goofy aromatic whatsoever, IMO. I honestly think when it comes to Lakelands, you either like them, or hate them with a passion. I havent read much of the in- betweens...

I get a juicy fruit vibe from Ennerdale when it's fresh. A little time in the jar diminishes that. It's one of my top 10 favorites.

If you're looking for almonds, try Kendal Flake. Some disagree, but I think it's every bit the powerhouse that Ennerdale is, just totally different.

Kendal flake is definitely almondy....and delicious.

I am looking forward to trying Ennerdale myself on my next order.

I like Ennerdale but it's more like cologne/perfume to me.

It has a very unique taste. You can tell that it's definitely Lakeland, but there is something different about it. I can smoke it anytime.

Ennerdale isn't in my regular rotation but I always make sure I have some on hand for when the mood strikes.

I did get the almond vanilla flavor. Sort of. Imagine eating a single almond and a tiny sliver of vanilla....and following that up by drinking a bottle of Old Spice (or insert your favorite cheap cologne) while taking a bath in strongly scented soaps in the middle of a rose garden while spraying a can of Lysol in your face. Or something like that. No offense intended to the Lakeland lovers, I really did give Ennerdale a fair shot (smoked almost a whole tin), but it just wasn't my thing.
