    Hi everyone,

My 1st pipe that i got in the early 2000's was a brigham pipe that i got at a local smoke shop and i ended up loosing it in a move. I didnt replace it and i just stoped smoking after that. Now that im back in the hobby I felt that I should have a Canadian section in my rotation. So Today i got a old Brigham before they outsourced the pipes to Italy.

This is a 4 dot Director style pipe and it was made in Toronto during the 80's. Brigham pipes use a maple rock filter, so ill have to go stock up on some :)

Did you get this off of the Bay? Thought I saw one similar on there.
Love the rustication, stem is nicely cut also. Looks great!

I really like that stem, nice looking pipe. I have four Brighams in a similar rustication.

So yeah this is a huge pipe. It dwarfs my biggest pipe that i had up till now. It wasnt used all that much because i can still see the orange putty that they put inside the bowl as a protective layer to help create cake.

I have an old 2 dot brigham my father in law gave me that's at least 40 years old, and it absolutely crushes the newer 4 dot one I bought. Outsourced production eh? Now I know why!

I found it smokes so much better without the maple dowel thingie in it.

That is a great looking pipe David. I love how the stem fits into the shank, fit and finish are right up my alley. Nice score!
