And all I have to say is....I can see why you guys like it so much. I'm on my third bowl. I debuted CH in two new cobs and a new briar (Viking Classic), and you can smoke this stuff all day. Burn is unreal, taste is simplistically delicious as many of you have already said. Reminds me of my Mark Twain cigars which I love for the same reason.

Congrats on the find. CH is a really good no-nonsense everyday smoke. I smoke 2-3 bowls of CH a day generally, then I save the "fancy" stuff for the evening smoke.

Good for you. I have to admit, there is so much talk about it that I've been wanting to get some myself. I asked at a couple of places in my area but they don't carry it. Not sure it is sold in the East end of Pennsylvania. Eventually I'll break down and buy some online.

Prince Albert and Carter Hall... the two main staples of the pipe smoker. Everything else is treasure hunting or toilet flushing.

I recently bought into the hype as well and glad I did. I will be adding several tubs to the cellar soon.

I am 2 hours north of you in WB/Scranton area. Try CVS, Walgreens or Those discount gas/tobacco stores. There's one by me that has all the OTC's.
Cant remember the name of them, but I think it's something like Prime. Will look on my way home today.

Thanks for the suggestion. So far I tried Wegman's, Walmart, Walgreens (no wonder I hit a wall) and CVS. Both Wegman's and Walmart near by no longer stock anything tobacco related. Walgreens and CVS both have tobacco, mostly their own no-name stuff. But when I asked for Carter Hall, one cashier was like "What is that, the brand??" while she bent over looking for it in vain.

It's been a while since I've been to WB/Scranton but I get as far north as Bath. Was just there a few days ago. I should have checked a couple of stores. Next time.
