Today, I received my Savinelli Autograph from Viking Pipes . Thank you Nathan! The pipe arrived on schedule and is in perfect shape. AND it smokes great!

This pipe has a smooth finish sort of "shield" on the front, but the back and shank are rusticated. I haven't been able to get a pic that shows that off very well, but it looks really neat.

It sits very stably on my desk, which is a feature I wasn't expecting.

And I LOVE the irregular, sort of blobby shape to the bowl

Thank you very much, Viking Pipes!

Yeah, those bean bags are great. They don't take up much space so you can throw 'em down anywhere and have a quick rest for any pipe you're smoking.

Nice pipe- love the Birdseye on the rim. I've read on here that sav autographs are fantastic pipes. Enjoy it!

Put a 1/8th bend in it and it looks almost exactly like my first Autograph! It was the pipe that made me seek out other Savinelli pipes. I ended up with 5 Autographs and 2 Guibleo D'oro's (plus a few less pricey ones) and loved them. I still own an Autograph, which is a butt ugly pipe... which is why it wouldn't sell (when I switched to predominately meerschaum). I still smoke it on occasion and it still delivers.

    Nice score! Enjoy! :th1:

LOL!! Mine IS kind of a butt ugly pipe -- but beautiful in its own weird way. And I'm appreciating how well it smokes with each new bowl I put through it.

There's an Autograph at my local B&M that I restored for them. It's a beauty. Half blast/half smooth.
They have it overpriced, but I'll make a move for it sooner or later (thanks to you and Sas).

I like those bean bags, too. I need to pick up a couple in the near future. Nice pipe, by the way.

That's a Savinelli Champagne. Also a good smoker, though the new one is better. Pretty much "light it and leave it."

Nice one. Nothing wrong with a pipe being asymmetrical, added character.
