Aldo Velani does some fine pipes in a nice price range... and to get it secondhand you really win on the price!

Nice big chambered pipe for a not so big price. Somebody needs to buy this one as the price is darn good.

Yeah... I couldn't resist, mostly because of the stem! Bought some Bob's Chocolate Flake too. Thanks for the tip!

Nice pipe. I hate that smokingpipes takes the price off after a pipe has been sold. Would be helpful information for those looking for a similar pipe.

Agreed. I suppose that if a style/brand gets hot they can assign market prices without having to reference the previous, lower prices.

AWESOME! I agree about that stem! You have to post on this thread later and show us what it looks like. I'd also like to see how badly overreamed it is. From the pic it doesnt look bad at all.

Will do! I agree...from the pic, it doesn't look too bad. However, it's hard to tell for sure until I see it in person. I'm not too concerned about it though. For what I paid for it, it was a good deal! Finder's fee? What finder's fee? I don't recall any finder's fee... :ohyh:

A very interesting pipe. The traditional briar works with an avant garde stem.

I received my pipe! It came in the original box, with a matching sleeve. It is in pretty darn good shape, considering the price. As for it being overreamed, it is, a little. Basically just about down to the briar. A slight bit of char left. Nothing dramatically wrong with it though. A few minor areas that are burned around the rim, but not too bad. It looks really good, I think. I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow. Thanks again for pointing me in its direction, Armed!
