I purchased an Aldo Velani pipe a couple years ago, this one http://pipesandcigars.com/alvecoepiwiv1.html#.UXAjAOTn_cu . It is a great smoker, and real good for if I am working on something in my shop, as it is a sitter, and has a large bowl.
Of course I have always heard about ghosting but have never experienced it until the other day when I was working on a computer and loaded it with SWRA, I had previously smoked a lot of ennerdale flake in it but had not smoked it in months, I do have to say it was quite tasty and I really enjoyed that smoke. Funny, I smoke everything in my Kirsten pipes and they never do ghost.

for some reason the link is not working here, it keeps taking the s out of pipes and cigars.

I'm smoking an Aldo Milano now, they seem like a great pipe for the money.

Ahh, here's my newest one from a trade with ShawnP, it will be cobs for a long time from now on, and a while before that even.

It came with the original box and bag? Wow. What a steal for you on that one! Nice snag. And the overreaming is minimal! Good deal!

Was a very sweet deal for me,ShawnP has left the briar world, maybe he will come back, but to my benefit I cleaned him out for now.
No box and monogrammed bag though:xd: , but a very nice suede leather bag, maybe they added the logo later.
It's a great smoker, and sits well, full or empty
Shawn's pics by the way, my camera is more capable than I am on nicer pics

Thank you, Aldo seems happy here, as long as I don't neglect him too often, those temperamental Italians y'now :)

I'm still waiting for someone to knock on my door and say "Hey Jon, I'm getting out of the smoking really gorgeous briar pipes thing. Would you please take these off my hands?" Has yet to happen. But a guy can hope....:whis:
