Pleased to say I'm good for the time being. It is encouraging to see it showing up at more places recently. Maybe we're finally pulling out of the drought.

That is the rumor I heard. This would make me happy. As I sit here and puff some SL, only tobacco I cannot get enough of is Firedance. I honestly could do without the rest of SG's line i think.

There was a time back when Gawith was easy to come by and relatively cheap that I tried a lot of their offerings: Chocolate Flake, Commonwealth, Perfection, FVF, etc., and they were all top quality blends. I still have a little of most of them, but since the shortage, I've discovered a bunch of other things that I like as well or better, things I don't have to fight to get hold of. I'll keep a decent stash of SL and I like having some Navy Flake, but I'm really looking at availability as a major factor when I try new things now. Unless something changes drastically, I'm not going to get hung up on any others from them. I have avoided trying things from Germain for the same reason.

    Ol Brokedik.

p.s. If you got some S.G. because of Macion Grey, you should give the guy some "likes"!

Mars does have FD, but a two tin limit. To me, the cost with shipping was not worth it. I will hope my local shop gets some in,

Smokingpipes.com still lists SL tins in stock and they're $1 less than what 4noggins has them at.
