Any opinions on how I did with this one? I love cumberland stems and I've been looking for a Dunhill poker for a while...considering group 5 Dunhill Cumberlands and Dunhill Countys run around $450 new I think I did okay but I figure I'd let some of you experts comment on it...

    Hi,

A real Dunhill at that price and the man asks did he pay too much?!

I'd say it was practically the sale of the century,

Many happy years with it - do let us know how it smokes!

I'd just say that if you're happy after you receive it, then you did fine.

You got robbed...sorry to say. I can help recoup some of your loss, though....say 50 bucks to my door?

Kidding aside, Wowzers, dude! Good grab! Bet you couldn't believe it when the auction ended!

The only way to 'toast' the narrowly defeated is by lighting a bowl with smug satisfaction. I say smoke it with glee! (I would personally garrote a bitch if I saw him after losing out over .07, but, hey! I'm shallow!)

I'll defer to the other gents about whether it's a good deal. I'm not familiar with Dunhills, and I'm not sure if I'm at a place where I'd be comfortable dropping that kind of cash on a pipe.

That said, it's a fine looking pipe. I'd certainly be proud to own its like.

Like the old 60s saying....If it feels good...do it!

I doubt I could tell the difference between a Dunhill and a well carved hunk of dog ****, but if you're happy with it then no you didn't pay to much. 400 bucks and change, or whatever you ended up paying, is cheap price for happiness nowadays! IMO.

It is a great looking pipe but for $450.00 smackers it better be made of pixie-dust and magic. Sasquatch could have crafted ya a really NICE pipe for around $150.00 or so (correct me if I am wrong).

This was your first clue that you got a deal, Neuro---Dunhill's are like Harley's---they don't depreciate much, if at all.
