ahhhhh, ok, go for the silver band then, take a shot, you might be surprised, but don't bid yet, wait at least until the last 2 hrs before the ending, or 2 min, the more interest any action gets on bids, the more the prices shoot up

Nice one. Yes, the 268 is nice for flakes. I had one for years. Smoked many tins of Irish Flake through it.

Interesting stain. I suppose they stain it red, then black and wipe the black off the raised areas before it dries.

I adore that shape, but don't have a Peterson version thereof yet (just a very fine Grabow). A local shop has a smooth Emerald 268, though, with some nice birdseye. If it's still there when I have the money it will be mine!

I would love a emerald 268 in smooth with a silver band, best is if its green for me, kinda liking the green on Petey now, even though its more of a hint of a tint than a color

So that's a Zulu bend. This was a conversation a while back. Learn something every day.

Its listed as a Zulu bend, its slightly different than my GBD/Comoy version, but close enough to qualify;)

The one for bid will go for big dollars. Anything Pipestud auctions goes high.
