I was in my local B&M this afternoon, picking up some bulk burly, when I spied this at the counter.

    Curse my PAD!

My only complaint is that the new kid working behind the counter gave me the wrong bag to store it in. I didn't notice until I got home that my Nording came in a Kriswill bag.

I do love those Nordings... have been looking at a lot of them on Ebay, but havent won any yet... I love the random shapes of the freehand work rather than the "Egg" "Apple" "Billiard Ball" "Gazelle Spleen" and all other basic over done shapes. I much prefer a nice over done freehand... :)

I have quite a few Nordings, most are the Hunter series. Nice score!

Thank you. You can't go wrong with a Nording. I have a couple of others, but I've never bought an "unfinished" pipe before. I am almost hesitant to smoke it without donning the kid gloves, the way some people do when smoking meerschaum...almost.

Great looking pipe! I really like the stem on it too.

Did you guys hear that Eric Nording will be at The Briary in Homewood, Alabama for a pipe show? Man, if I could pull that trip off and go to the Chicago Int'l pipe show too... :bing:

No, you couldn't help it. You were helpless! We're all there with ya, man! We see a pipe, we realize we can't really afford it, and we buy it anyway. That's how PAD works.

The good news is you have a new pipe! That makes it all worthwhile. :th1:

Nice signature! I had a similar one for a while. It used to be my hiking pipe. Very nice smokers, those!
