    Freaking tamper, right into a huge 5 gallon bucket filled to the top with light fluffy ash, ofcourse It sunk way down in there to who knows how far down...
    Anyway! could some one do me a favor and see if their Czech (I think thats where they are made?) you know the one with the little spoon the nail and the tamp, is magnetic? that would be so greatly appreciated!

    why not dump the whole thing in the yard and hose it down? Problem solved. No need to Rube Goldberg it.

    I just checked my Czech and it will certainly be picked up by a magnet. :)

    thanks guys, I would just dump the ash and hose it down but, there is this little thing called snow, mud, and whatever else is in the yard for the poor little guy to get lost in
    So im glad that its magnetic, Ill go get the "cattle" magnet from the shop and pull that puppy out of its tempory resting place :) When toby is 40$ a tin i cant afford to be losing those pipe tools lol

    I told you to buy the Chasseurs, it was the same order as the Gokey Sandanonas. Not to be confused with the White's Smokejumpers, which are strictly for Judy Garland Night at the Manhole.

    My El cheapo Czech pipe tool is definitely magnetic.. I'd say most are.

    Ok I got it out of the ash, was pretty simple and easy, not to mention no ash digging. Just so you dont think im all crazy for asking, I thought the tool was made of stainless and stainless steel is non magnetic :p

    I keep mine on my keychain with a clip style d-ring so I have it on me at all times.. Between piping, and snuffing (I like to use the little curved spoon for that) I'd be lost without my little czech tool.
