What would you open? What's the tin you've had tucked away for a special occasion?

Mine is a 1999 tin of McC #22.

I am embarrassed to say I joined the PSF for that very reason...never owned a tin because they were too expensive. But I stayed for the awesome friendships. And have had the opportunity to be a blessing to others.....at least I hope. :thu:

The only reason I have a single tin at all is due to the generosity of Ichabod and the contest, otherwise its my first tin, but I have a few baggies of samples..
Prior to that, all I have ever had one a single pouch of OTC at any given time, smoke it till its gone, then get another one, what else was there,
But I had 20+ years of cigar smoking and only rarely a pipe going, but now there are no cigars and its all pipes

I have one Dunhill My Mixture 965 put away, and I have a Peterson 2012 special reserve that was moved to a jar but as yet untouched... Haven't really decided when they should be opened... I was thinking of keeping the Dunhill untill I can afford a Dunhill pipe.

I've only got 2 sealed tins at the moment. Blue Mountain and McCranie's Red Flake. I'd go with the Blue Mountain since I want to age the Red Flake a bit and I've been wanting to try BM anyway. But currently I have tins of about 10 different blends open, so I'll probably smoke a few of my open tins before I open anything else!

I don't own a tin of anything, but I do have a couple of unopened OTC pouches I've not tried yet, I'm going to get into one of them this weekend, not for a special occasion or anything, just to have a nice new smoking experience. I may have to get me one 'o them fancy tins one day though, I hear the Frog Morton is good!
