The top pipe is a Peterson that I picked up off of Ebay a month or two ago. It's an African Block Meer. (A great smoker , BTW) The bottom one I just got last week. It is a Carey Magic Inch and to me at least it also looks an awful lot like an African Block Meer.

I'd like to replace the silly little magic inch filter assembly and stem with a Peterson or Peterson-like (doesn't have to be a P-lip) bent stem. This picture shows both with the stems removed. The Peterson stem on the straight pipe is an exact fit for the bent one. I don't know much about sizing the stems. Does anyone know what that size would be and where I can pick up a bent stem of this size? I know I can just put tape over the air slots and smoke it but I'd rather replace the stem if I can.

Did you see the thread where a guy used black superglue and stem dust to repair a hole? Might work.

Yeah I did see that. He did some amazing magic there. I don't want to have to work that hard for this. I know the straight Pete stem fits and I know there are sources for Pete replacement stems. I just need to find a bent one that size. It doesn't even need to be a Pete, just the right size. I'm just hoping someone can tell me a source.

Check with PIMO pipe making supplies. I think they have Pete replacement stems.

I looked all through their site but I can't find Peterson replacements. Just generics but I can't tell which is what.
