Just got an email announcing the Spring/Summer Sale at Invita Briars. Pete is offering 20% off the price of his pipes right now. These are good pipes and already well-priced, and being able to get another 20-percent off makes them even more tempting.

It's almost like a guidebook to the standard/classic shapes, isn't it?

Their "Cherrywood" pipe has been on my wish list for a while.

Thanks for the heads up! Got one a few months ago and have nothing but great things to say about the company! Pete is fantastic to deal with. Now gonna go feed my PAD at Invicta Briars!

My invicta bulldog smokes like a champ. Love the pipe and he drilled it open, like I enjoy. Easy to remove and replace the bit when cool, easy to clean even while smoking (run a pipe cleaner down the bit).

I will buy more of them when I need. They are built for my kind of smoking style.

Nice pipe. You'll need to post a picture after it arrives, too.

Just got an email that Pete is extending the sale a few days, so I thought I'd bump this thread.

He said he has added three pipes to the line and that is the reason for the extension -- an egg bent and two churchwardens. Even though I had just received some birthday pipes I had to take him up on the sale and get the Lovat that's been on my wish list for about six months. Given that, I'm out for now, but if anyone wants an Invicta Briar now is not a bad time to pull the trigger. :bing:

Too bad a new pipe isn't in the budget... well not if I want a new guitar and accessories.

I know. I know. It seems he does these sales more than once a year. I just missed the last one, and it seems like it was only about six months ago. So maybe next time.
