    That's a cool looking pipe! It's like a lace carved meer but, might be a carved briar... cool!

    It's definitely wood. Most likely briar.

    Some carvers can do some pretty crazy stuff.

    If you follow the link under the video to the Watson Shop website is gives all the info on it, and it is briar. Very cool looking pipe too!

    Wow! What a carving job! That would be a really cool thing to do when you don't have much grain to speak of, carve it all into lattice. I can't even imagine how hard that must have been. My hands hurt just looking at it. I wonder if it would darken or would just the body underneath darken? That would be really cool, too.:D

    Guess it's a personal taste thing? Not a pipe I'd consider spending money on! I've seen many other highly carved pipes that I personally like a lot more. Guess it's the area around the top of the bowl that really turns me off. The square shank end doesn't seem to fit either..... Overall, it doesn't ring my bell!
