Bought this pipe for next to nothing. The bowl is 2 3/4" high, 1 3/8" across outside[IMG][IMG] the bowl, and 7/8" across inside bowl. The length is 6 1/4" long. The only markings it has is "Made In London England" and "International Selection". Anyone who who made this pipe? What I am coming up with on my research is it could be a Charatan second. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks Basil. I have already done the alcohol/salt soak with gentle ream and oxycleaned the stem. Now to polish the big booger.

That is a beautiful pipe! Is it just me or does it always seem that when someone posts a pipe that exactly fits the bill of what you're looking for in your next pipe, it always ends up being an unidentifiable brand? It would make life so much easier when it comes to seeking it out online if it were clearly identifiable! ;)

I agree with your Charatan second's statement. I just did a quick google search and came to the same conclusion. The maker of the pipe is "International Selection" by Charatan. Found this Canadian on smokingpipes by the same maker.

Hello, just an FYI, your pipe looks great! with what I know I would suggest that that pipe was likely made in the Parker/Harcastle factory as it is a dead ringer for an old Dunhil shape #120, I have had a few of these and not just anyone made that shape in that size and/or look. Happy smoking!

Now, that's my kind of pipe. Bigger is better, usually, unless you smoke only flakes.

Wow it does look exactly like a Dunhill 120. Neat.
