I have been partial to Petersons ever since I started smoking pipes, but have found another... And it's a Boswell. Since I am an Outdoorsman and have been my entire adolescent/adult life, I chose the Sportsman model. I love this pipe, and I did the deal yesterday. She's on her way!![IMG]

It's pretty...that hard bend in the stem alarms me, though. Make sure you report on how well it smokes later on and rub it in my smug little face, ok? :)

I came 'this' close to getting a Boswell a couple years ago. Unfortunately, it was my anniversary, and the one I wanted disappeared by the time my wife gave me a minute's respite. Oy, women.

I still smoke my Boswell. It's an oversized poker with a beautiful walnut finish. Great smoker.

    Nice pipe, Doc! :th1:

I am going to be about 30 miles from their place in about two weeks. Might have to make a trip.

I would recommend it. If not, I would vote you off the island. Wait, this isn't tv. Seriously, I have been there twice. About ten hour drive round trip.

Sounds like you are coming to my neck of the woods. I am only about an hour and a half from them. I have been there about 10 years ago (before I started a pipe) for some cigars. Wonderful people and a nice store. Go check them out!!!!
