I smoked a bowel yesterday? I found no issue keeping it lit? I will be honest though? I just did not like it?

Personally, I rub out flakes completely unless I’m planning to hike to the summit of Mt. Washington. If I'm planning to be outdoors and it's a windy day I may lightly rub the flake out (think larger chunks), because the wind alone will stoke the fire. When I smoke at home I'll thoroughly rub out a flake. In fact, when I smoke HOTW, a ready-rubbed, I still rub it out completely. I guess I like lots of billowy smoke.
