What can you fine chaps recommend for a good Kentucky blend? It's one of the few tobacco's I've not touched thus far. Thanks in advance!

The only Dark Fired Kentucky I smoke is Jackknife Plug, now that is a sit down smoke and no mistake.

I'm going to have to use that, Craig. My girl will get a kick out of it.

Kendal Kentucky is as good as it gets, as far as I'm concerned. Everyone talks about the huge nicotine blast but it's never hit me. I smoke it before breakfast most mornings.

Go to tobaccoreviews.com, and search for "Kentucky"

short answer: Kendal Kentucky. But don't tell SouthBound that I mentioned it here.

Many other tasty blends include Kentucky leaf, including Jackknife plug, Revor plug, and Irish Flake.

I'm onto you boys. The man with the brown shirt that knocks on your door will collect your cards, among other things.

While I'm here, let me throw my voice in for Kendal Kentucky, also. It's a real pleasure to smoke, trauma. Also, Kickin' Chicken has a pretty healthy dose of that leaf. Good stuff!

Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky (or Dark Kentucky - same stuff, less scary name) -- if you can find it; or Peter Heinrich's Dark Strong Flake if you can't.

Jack Knife Plug and SG Kendall Kentucky (previously mentioned by Brit abroad and YAPPG, respectively) are also good choices.

Don't forget G&H Dark Bird's Eye. A slightly sweeter, slightly less potent version of Kendal Kentucky. Both are great. So is the PH Dark Strong!

I wasn't aware that either Old Dark Fired or Exhausted Rooster had Kentucky in them at all.I smoke both with some regularity. For some time now I've been searching out blends that contain Kentucky, mainly due to Hal O' the Wynd and a small sample of Heinrich's Dark Strong Flake recently received.I have come to the conclusion that Kentucky is some damn good baccy.

If anyone has any PH Dark Strong Flake they'd trade shoot me a PM.
