......another beautiful Sasieni (that's 3 I have now). This one a 4 dot Walnut, purchased by my brother (for himself....lol) in 1969. Smoked 5 or 6 bowls......and quit. Been sitting in a leather carrying pouch for 40-something years, till he gave it to me 3 days ago. Sorry about quality of pics, had to use cell phone camera, as I just moved, and didn't have my digital camera.

A venerable old brand! My 2nd pipe purchase (not including the various crapola) after a Comoy Tradition was an old 4-dot natural. Excellent smokers.

    That's a beauty, Nitehawk. :th1:

Thanks Russell....smokes great. And is so pristine, all I needed to do was run a pipe cleaner through it.

Oh you gotta be careful! Pipes that have not been cleaned/smoked for 40 years are prone to have all sorts of bacteria growing in those hidden areas... I will gladly inspect and disinefect this one for you, no charge!

It's nice to have pipes with some history. I have a few of my dads' They are not the best but they are my favorites.

    Great looking pipe!

I agree with you gunsmoke. My uncle stopped smoking a few years back. He's in his 80's now and stopped by my house one day out of the blue carrying his pipes to give me. He was thrilled to know someone in the family was going to use them. He then showed me his favorites, where he got some, how he broke some... it was cool to know a little more about him and his pipe smoking days
