Ah! Very nice Pete AK!:thu: I've got a smooth one something like that, now I wish I had a rusticated one. Whats the model number on it?
And how you wear a kilt in Alaska at this time of year..........Hope the wind don't kick up too much. Brrrrrrrr!:startl:

    220?

I picked up a Pete too!

Blasted Aran (SP exclusive) and she's burning DH DNR like a champ! Pre carbonized coat stain and all! Not bad at all for he maiden burn and not bad at all for an entry level Pete! Shape is A-1, straight Gil doggie, a touch rounder/fatter than the 150

Naturally a tin of Pete Sherlock came with. Thank you Smoking Pipes!

It is a 221. It's a bit smaller than my Sav 606. If I am happy with this one, I'll probably end up with more. I really have been liking what I see of the Petes.

As far as wearing the kilt, I wear it down to about -10 or so. It's not as if I hang out outside. I go from warm house, to warm vehicle, to warm building. Only outside for a couple minutes at most. I also keep a pair of snow pants in the car, just in case.

Oh, Okay. But, its gotta make you wonder about how they all wore them back in the day. They must have been a mighty tough breed.

That's not bad. I thought he didn't insure them that way.

I was actually referring to how it smoked with my comments though. It looks great!

Its smokes great, I love it. Altinok ships registered mail. Postal service says a safe secured way to ship. Two weeks from Turkey to my door :) The price to insure was high, so i kept fingers crossed for the whole two weeks, glad it made a safe journey. May need another- the suspence was half the fun
