My latest are two pipe show meerschaums. One is a Wm. C. Demuth ball with a bone tenon and amber stem...probably from the 40s. The other is a newer Tekin bent bulldog...a pipe shape that I've been seeking for some time. It has the damned two-piece connector, but after 10 minutes of work, it has smoked the last three bowls cool and dry, right to the bottom. My first purchases in many months, and both pipes set me back a total of $100.00.

Picked up another Butz - $47 including shipping to my door. I have other Butz and really like them, they tend to be a larger size which is good for my largish hands, can't wait to try it. A saddle apple?

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and this is my second post. My latest purchases have been some pipe tobacco seeds a few weeks ago (they are starting to germinate) a Missouri Meerschaum miniature corncob I bought at Tahoe in a gift shop, and I ordered several new cobs and two hardwood pipes from Missouri Meerschaum the other day. I bought an Ozark Mountain cherry (bent of course) an Ozark mountain mini in maple, a Missouri Pride (bent) and an Eaton (I wanted to get one for trying new blends out) as well as a couple bits so I can go bent or straight and customize my collection a little.

I like that pipe, Len, and I'm glad you are having good luck with BC's. I have gone through a few, one little bulldog was wonderful, the rest, okay to mediocre. Here's hoping yours are all winners.

Really shouldn't have day's off; TAD kicks in to bad; ordered Frog Morton and Town Topic to round out my day from my earlier purchase. Have heard rave reviews about Frog so decided I should give it a go!

Got a pretty good haul yesterday.

    A full bent briar apple
    Meerschaum pirate head churchwarden
    new tobacco pouch
A tin of Sutliffe Blend No 5
    1 oz of Blackberry Winter
1 oz Virginia Blend (another Ted's Pipe Shoppe blend), a very spicy, very tasty VaPer
1.5 oz pouch of Altadis Wild Cherry
1.5 oz pouch of Altadis Rum & Maple

the next three I got but haven't tried yet because one of the previous tobaccos kept calling me back...

    2 oz of Bar Harbor
    2 oz of Nosferatu
    2 oz of Hobbit's Weed

Out of all the tobaccos (other than Blackberry Winter which I have had before and will always love) I smoked yesterday, 3 stand out. I really liked Blend No 5, Virginia Blend and the Rum & Maple. Matter of fact I smoked so much yesterday my mouth is raw today and I am gonna take a couple of days off from smoking. Will be reviewing my tobacco purchases (that I got to try) tonight for you guys.
