I'm confused. Where do you put the tobacco? Since Wicker Man arrived my concept of what comprises a smoking pipe has changed.

It goes on the top right section, the left section has a motor to drive a fan to keep it lit, then you suck on the tube, er I mean cord:rolleyes:

You don't put it anywhere, once Wicker Man finishes growing his tobacco he's going to roll them into cigar like shapes, tie them in bundles and dry them. Once dried Spill will cut them into small coins on the lathe and package them into little cans of about 2 ozs each where PSF Blend Anno whateverthehellyearitendsupbeing on it and give them away when you reach your 25,000th post.

In for a penny, in for a pound, heh Spill? Now for tooling up. Be about the same amount as the lathe.

I once managed to amputate a finger tip with a milk shake machine. (Think about that the next time you order a strawberry shake. The lathe is far less dangerous

Yesterday I actually planned on winning an ebay auction for another Polinski ROCK (a bent ROCK, should have been the big sister for the ROCK I already own - same style, same finish, even the half polished/half rusticated rim was the same) - but I didn't get it. To let off the szeam about it - 5 minutes later I won that one, a Bentley classic shaped bulldog:

main thing with any machinery especially a lathe is no loose clothing, roll up your sleeves and no hoodies with draw strings.

Yesterday I bought a La rocca from my local B&M. I wanted an affordable pipe that would smoke well and look good too. This thing smokes very well. They knocked the price down and it incidently matched the price of one of the popular online merchants. I think anytime you can get a pipe at a B&M for Internet pricing your doing good. They also threw in a bag of house blend.
