I just had to post these pictures of my latest PAD addition. This guy measures about 8 inches in length. I like Rich's Armadillos... and this is the biggest I've seen... so I had to have it. He has made other giant Armadillos, but they are not rather rare.

Love at first sight for me...

Sure is a beauty Bob, some piece of work. I really like that birdseye up top.
Is this the one you mentioned in the now smoking thread that this is your new favorite puffer?
Congratulations, hope you two have a long and healthy relationship!

    Best,
    -Rob

Good looking pipe! That is big I've seen a lot of big Armadillo's but yours is huge. For those interested in Rich's work including the 2011 NASPC POY http://www.lewispipe.com/ :bling:

That's a gorgeous pipe, Bob. You can tell a lot of care went into making it.

Just be careful of burn throughs...

Jeez, I bet it could be used as a crucible...not that you'd want to.

That's just unbelievable. There's enough birds-eye there to start a frozen foods company.

That's a real looker, Rob and the contrast between the grain and rustication makes it especially eye-catching! May you enjoy that wonder for decades to come!

Agree! That is one BAD pipe!

Bob, I noticed a defect on the lower left half of the bowl... maybe you should send it to me so I can check it out :bing:
