I am smoking my imported briar, Medico pipe like it is meant to be smoked, like I don't give a damn. I'm smoking the heck out of it. It gets best mid-way through the first bowl, and it doesn't quit getting better until the day is done.

It isn't like any other briar I've seen. The wood must be imported from a country with a high shellac content in the soil. It certainly takes a shellacking and keeps on smoking. It doesn't ask for rest.

An excellent pipe? In some ways, yes. Especially if you take advantage of the special deal on the back of the Medico Filter box. A $27.95 pipe for only $18.75. Money back if not satisfied.

It's not my best pipe, but I'm not asking for my money back.

Sounds as though "satisfaction" has been achieved. Well done on the inexpensive pipe.

I got one off the back of a filter box. Don't care for it. Turned me off Medico pipes. Glad you like yours, enjoy!

I saw the inexpensive German briars that they have advertised on their website. Just what brand are those pipes? I'm always on the look-out for a pipe that smokes reasonably well, but that I can also take out on a fishing trip and not worry too much about dropping in the drink.
