I just came back from a coffee and pipe full of Va #1. I took some pics, it's great knowing that no matter what happens with Internet sales I'll be able to get what I want, even if I do have to pay Texas taxes.
I didn't realize I cropped the top of of this. There is quite a few tins on top as well.

    But anyway...tins

A few bulk blends. Only the lower shelf is aromatics.

Some pretty good stuff in bulk ;)

    A few others.

There's also a bout a 600 sq ft walk in that is positively stuffed with cigars.

I worked for the owner for about six and a half years, about two at this location and the rest at the old place.
This store is about 20 minutes from my house and about 6 blocks from my office. :)

You are so lucky to have a B&M so close to you. Wish one would open in my area. Closest is an hour and a half away. (Charleston, WV)

A couple shots of the tobacco and pipe selection. Those are far from exhaustive, as they have a great deal more than that.

And there are a couple shots of the smoking lounge.

Really great shop, run by great people. I'm very lucky to have it here.

Retirement is drawing near and relocation is possible. Where are you? How do the rentals look? No, I don't give a rip if there are no schools nearby.

Your local B&M makes my local B&M look like a dirty water hot dogs stand...

Alabama, Birmingham to be specific. Rentals are cheap compared to the rest of the country, but that is for a reason. :D

Nah, it's not so bad. The really big reason I'm leaving when I can, though, is the horrible climate. Hot and sticky half the year, no real winter time (no snow, just rain), and the only real redeeming quality is Spring time with the beautiful plants. Other than that, bleh.

But we do have cheap real estate (comparatively speaking), cheap tobacco, and, of course, The Briary. So it's not all bad. :)

i was up in tynemouth yesterday with my better half
having a walk around i found a shop called the wine chambers
had a look round had every type of wine and spirit the mind could come up with
(even a bottle of bollinger half the size of me for the nice sum of 1000 pounds)

went down a couple of steps in the shop they had a couple of peterson pipes a display card of falcons and a good size walk in humidor, with me not being big on cigars i didnt take much notice

pipe tobacco was a good choice, st bruno, condor but also a good selection of peterson tobaccos and some of the gawith hoggarthsnamely cherry and vanilla, whisky and coffee caramel but the most intriging was ennerdale flake ready packed into ounce packages, i thought that was only in bulk, but with me being a little short on cash i didnt buy anything

but the nice part of it they had a few tables and umbrellas outside where you could sit and have a glass of the old vino and a smoke (although there was a 4 quid corkage charge)
but if im ever up there again and its a nice day i think i may make a return visit....

I'm with you there. Here in Or-e-gun, we are almost to the point where public figures can be seen entering and leaving adult book stores without worry. If one is spotted in the parking lot of any tobacco retailer, jaws will drop.

You guys are killing me with these great B&M's. I thought I had a decent one or two 45 min from me, but they pale in comparison.
