I was looking through the bottom drawer of my stand up humidor today and located a white box that I do not remember seeing there before. I usually go through this drawer every once in a while just to see what I have stored in there and what I can get rid of. Somehow I over looked a box in the back of the drawer. I finally pulled it out and opened it and was suprised to see a Butz Choquin pipe I had purchased from ebay 3 or 4 years ago. It is a Montmartre #1320. I must have put it in the drawer shortly after buying it and had forgotten it until today. It is a nice looking pipe and I am reminded why I bought it in the first place.
It was sort of like Christmas or my birthday.
It's kinda like hiding your own Easter eggs. You are genuinely suprised when you find one:old:

I intend to break it in very soon

Maybe I need to search all my drawers at home. I'd love to magically have a pipe appear.

Some folks just kill me. My father-in-law is doing the same thing with firearms. He'll email me and go "Well golly. I was going through my safe and I found a never-shot-before .22 magnum." Listen, when I spend money like that, I KNOW what I bought and I know WHERE it is in my house. I just don't get some of you characters.

You will understand one day ArmedOctopus. You will go into a room for a very important reason, get there and totally forget why you went there in the first place:haha:

This thread is quickly going downhill......at my expense.

(But it was done so well, I just can't be mad.:p:)
And besides, I know this isnt true because...

    A. My wife is home.
    B. She is a superb shot with just about any handgun.

You posting means you arent dead which means you clearly havent searched my drawers. So there.

That looks like the logo of the pipes for sale at kennebec smoke shop in hallowell, other than some Dr. G's the only pipe I've touched that isn't cob. I was struck by how light they were. Theirs are $110.00 plus tax. BTW I ain't checking no ones drawers I know I don't care for that kind of surprise.

Maybe I'm a little slow but, Moose checked his drawers and found a pipe? Isn't that what he should have found? And did he really need to check? :bing:

This is where I would chime in but the wife is with me. That means I would get smacked.

Take the new pipe out of the box, lay a piece of wilted lettuce on it and say " Look what the neighbors threw out"
The old I found it at a garage sale in a box of junk for $5 story might work.
Unless the wife knows the prices of pipes, then your scrwd:confused:
