Every once in a while I come across a Natural Pipe or a raw wood pipe, one without varnish or veneer. I was curious if anyone knew of a good place to find them?

The link below is an example of what I mean,

I actually have the pipe in question above.
I was going to put some finish on it but can't bring myself to.
One thing for certain that sucker has a huge bowl though!

Did you see s2srea's new Nording? I have an unfinished Nording myself, and I really love it; smokes great.

The Petersen Dunmore 74 I bought 30 years ago was completely unfinished. I was told that it was supposed to absorb the oil from your hand and develop a finish. Remember I was just a kid back then. :) Looks pretty dirty now, and never really smoked that well either.

as said earlier, Savinelli has a natural line, available with either lucite or vulcanite stems. I have a natural with vulcanite stem and it's a great pipe.

I have a Nording Natural and a Savinelli Natural. Both in the $50-$60 rage. These are both excellent smokers. Just understand that in very short order that beautiful blonde will become a beautiful brunette.

Check out Maqueen pipes in Canada. I ordered one from them and they are all wooden, and they smoke real nice...
