I have some cellared from 07/08. I didn't care for it then, I wonder how it will be now? How old is your tin Buistd?

I almost kept a tin of that and put a tin of Chick Magnet in its place.

Really nice deep tastes to it. Coffee, dark chocolate and the like. Similar flavours to a good maduro cigar. Very impressive. Bottom of the bowl was a bit too tightly packed so ended up getting a bit ashy-tasting from relights and excessive puffing, but a far better first smoke than many blends I've had.

Definitely one of Greg's best blends. Love the stuff. Have you tried Sextant?

It's only the second GLP blend I've tried after a bowlful of Telegraph Hill that Bluepipe let me have a few months ago. I have an 8oz tin of Westminster I haven't cracked yet.

Maybe I should revisit it then.

I have a tin I bought about a year ago. Maybe I should crack it open soon.

Sextant is amazing! I love it! I like GLP blends, they're a little on the strong side. Very rich tobaccos.

Did any of you guys who were initially unimpressed by Key Largo go back and give it a go? I'd be interested to see if the age plays a factor in the development of this blend, or if it is more down to my simple tastes! I still can't get enough of it.

I haven't had much luck with cigar leaf blends so this and GLP Robusto are at the bottom of my Pease list. I'll eventually get to them, however.

I just got a tin of this from 2008 in on Wednesday. I like Robusto so I would imagine I will like this as well.

I'm really hoping to, I still have tons of open stuff and samples to go through before opening any more tins. Just got two pounds of blending tobacco to figure out something to do with too

I opened a tin this summer that was only about ten months old. I found it harsh and unrefined. I plan to try my other tin in a few years.
