I came on trip here with my mother inlaw and her sister. I am their chauffeur. They wanted to go with me to Boswell's, both of their husbands used to smoke pipes. They are both deceased now. We had a great time in Boswell's it is a wonderful place. The top pipe I purchased and got me some tobacco. I bought several of their house blends. When we got out to the car the car my mother in law and her sister both handed me a box. One had the bottom pipe in it and the other one had the pipe holder. They said they were gifts for me running them around here and helping them have a such a wonderful time. I was stunned and didn't know what to say. I just thanked them over and over. I don't know what I was doing while they bought the pipe and stand, because I never even saw them buy anything. It was a wonderful experience and we had a great time at the shop, we got to meet Dan and JM. JM came out of the shop with a dusty apron on and shook my hand.

The top pipe is very large. The bowl is 2 inches deep good for long smokes. I did not own a large pipe, so I bought this one. The bottom is a normal size pipe, but it is a bent, which is my favorite.

Well worth the trip. Dan told me to call him any time and he will ship me whatever I need. I would encourage anyone who lives within a couple of hours of this place or travels close to this place to make the trip. Especially if you are looking for a pipe to buy.

I bought Bear blend, Berry cobbler, Boswell's Blend, Northwoods, Christmas Cookie, Rum River and a tin of McClelland Holiday Spirit. They threw in an ounce of tobacco, a pack of matches, a pack of pipe cleaners and Czech tool with each pipe. My mother inlaw also bought me three wind caps.

I smoked two bowls while I was there of Peaches & Cream and Berry Cobbler.

Sounds like a top notch experience! One of the reasons I Donnie mind driving there once or twice a year. They are good people!

Yes I like #2 also, but a little more than I wanted to spend. Also, a bit big too.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I just made it back home. I will post some pics later so you can estimate the size of each pipe. The twisted one is the same size as my Pete 302 system.
