OK, I am working up my next order and I am for sure picking up a bunch of 5100. I have been reading the descriptions of the other bulk blends. My question is this, any idea what the difference is between the 5000 series and 2000 series of bulk blends? I am just curious if there is something that seperates the two as two distinct different series or not. Anyone know?

In their bulk tobacco, what other virginias are favorites? What about their bulk English/Balkans, what are some favorites? Any other McC bulk faves I should try? I know I love 5100 and will be adding more periodically until I get a few pounds of it put up for hard times.

5110 is a McClelland English that should be considered. Many pipers feel that 5110 is very similar to FMOTT.

Besides 5100, I like #22 Matured Virginia and the bulk blend that is similar #2010. You may also want to try #24, #25 and #27 Matured Virginias. Truthfully, there's not a McClelland Virginia I don't like, they are all very good.

You might want to try McClelland 2015 which is a VA/Per...was told it's similar to their St. James Woods...also McClelland 2035 which is supposed to be similar to their Dark Star (?)...the St. James Woods and the Dark Star are favorites of mine so I'm going to be buying the 2015 and 2035 myself, to try (with my next order of 5100 of course)...

5125 Coyote Classic was my go to blend for a long time. It's a light English that can be smoked all day long.

Yep! It'll give me something new to try every month for a long time.

I ordered a pound of 5100 and a half pound of 2015 along with a bunch of other odds and ends. I'll try some of the bulk FM on my next order.

just tried The McClelland 2000 today - very nice!
I want to try the 5100, but cant find it locally.
I didn't like FM so there's no reason for me to try 5110.
    :bing:
P.S. what happened to the little pipe smokin' happy face without the hat??

Mars Cigars stocks the McClelland bulks and he always has #5100 in stock and it's priced right. Highly recommend this Red Virginia, especially if you're new to Virginia tobaccos. Any questions? You can PM me also.
