Meet the Jet Streams

    I've taken a shine lately to misunderstood mid-century modern forays into the pipesmoking world. These classic Jet Streams from Medico came in a number of shapes and various finishes and, as I just found out, several sizes. Haven't smoked the smallest one yet but the others are light and clenchable and enjoyable but prone to overheating.

    I think that four should be enough for any one collection so please buy all the ones you see so I'm not tempted.

    Is there anything special to them other than appearance? That name would seem to imply something.

    I think 5 is a much nicer number for a collection! lol

    Well, there is a fully rusticated one I saw a picture of . . .

    They do take a filter and the engineering is a little unusual for the ones with the bowls below the stem but they seem pretty normal. Maybe it was a marketing ploy, I'll have to do some more research.

    I too have been looking at the Jetstream's on eBay.

    Mine started with a Medico Zulu. They make really good pipes.....or at least they did.
