I have always wanted to try a churchwarden out, just cause I think they look cool and such, but don't want to spend too much money. I looked at a couple of warden's in the basket at the local tobacco shop, but have not purchased any. I thought I might try a MM with a churchwarden forever stem, which would give me a good smoking pipe with not much of an investment. Question is, which pipe to put with the warden stem? I have a bent Legend now, and it smoke nice, and have a Diplomat on the way to try out. What might be a good bowl style to pair with the churchwarden stem? I would like a nice size bowl, so was thinking about the General, but is that too big? I also like the looks of the Great Dane Egg.

    Opinions wanted....thanks!

Any of them work. I have two CG wardens. But I'm kinda nuts for the CG.

I have an Acorn and a General with warden stems. Both are great.

I have a Country Gentlewarden. It's pretty awesome. Super cool smoke, no matter how hot you're burning it. I think you could smoke gasoline in this without any bite. It's my "sit down for a long smoke" pipe.
